It is called Acer Iconia, which is a dual-screen laptop tablet powered by none other than the Intel Core i5 processor and sports dual 14 inch touchscreen displays which is surely going to have a heavy impact on the price tag.

Like this Optimus Tactus, an extruded shape/touch surface/keyboard concept by Art.Lebedev. We really like the soon-to-be-released Optimus keyboard Art but, seriously, how often do you type on your computer?

I can imagine that artists, musicians and video editors would like something like this... however, there are solid LCD tablet displays and Tablet PCs on the market already. Experience shows that, for the time being, it's a limited market. Further limiting it to a keyboard replacement could be economically impractical at best, never mind how practical this could be. The issue of the price is the other key here: by the time a touch surface keyboard could be a commercial reality coming from China via Moscow, touch computing from Apple and Microsoft would be so ubiquitous that it won't make sense anymore.

The Japanese (of course) company NEC has announced its LaVie G, a Hello Kitty inspired PC covered with precision-cut Swarovski crystals.

Apart from the computer, you will also get a USB flash drive and an optic computer mouse - both in the same kind of Kitty bling bling style.

The LaVie G features a 15.4 inch WXGA screen, a 120GB hard disk drive, 2GB of RAM, a DVD multi burner and AMD Turion 64×2 TL-52 processors.

The price is set to 210,000 Japanese yen (about $1,835 USD).

I have to admit that FOR ONCE, this watch phone looks pretty nice… Made by Hyundai, the W-100 is, as you can see, a phone that you can "wear" and which does not only feature a 1.3Mpix camera, but ALSO a touch screen, and Bluetooth!
